Tshepo Mohlolo (My story)

Tshepo Mohlolo served on the 67 minutes (Mandela Day) on 18 July 2010 in Silahliwe Squatter Camp under the Benjamin Dube Children’s Foundation. This is what he had to say, “Today I am involved in a charity of spending my 67 minutes with kids, and I like this day because I got to meet Pindile (linked child), and she is such a sweet girl. I got to share my knowledge of puzzle with her, and I would like to spend time with her agin in the near future; so that I can keep on giving her hope.”

Tshepo is one South African who drove all the way from Limpompo to spend time with a child in need in the Vaal, in Meyerton. ours!!!

Tshepo Mahlangu (My story)

Tshepo Mahlangu did not attend the Mandela Day on 18 July 2010, but sent new clothes to his linked child, Paulina Ndaba. The clothes were worth more than R300.

This is what he had to say on a letter addressed to Paulina;

“Dear Sesi Paulina Ndaba. I am sending this gift to you with lots of hugs and love. I have seen your photo and you are aa very very BEAUTIFUL young girl, and I know that when you grow up you will be someone great.

“Study very hard so that you pasyy your grade 4 and go to grade 5 next year.

“Always know that in the eyes of a child… there is joy, there is laughter… theirs is hope; there is trust, a chance to shape the future. Your future will be bright when you study hard and do your home work. Little girls are made of angel’s ings and giggles and a glow and all the happy feelings, deep inside, that we will all know.

“I am sorry I am not able to come there today but I hope to meet you one day so that we can share stories and laaughter. Please pass my greetings to your friend Zansile, your sister and your mother.

“I love you
